4.James Watt: (1736-1819) James Watt was a Scottish inventor, mechanical engineer and chemist.

5.Alexander Graham Bell: (3 March 1872-2 August 1922) Alexander Graham Bell was a Scottish-Born scientist, engineer.

9.Joseph Whithworth: (21 December 1803-22 January 1887) Joseph Whithworth was an English engineer, entrepreneur.

Designing of defense weapons like rifle,bleech loading artillery.

10.George Stephenson: (9 Jun 1781-2 August 1848) George Stephenson was an English civil Engineer and mechanical engineer who build the first intercity railway line in the world to use steam locomotives.

11. Gustave Eiffel: (15 December 1852-27 December 1923) Gustave Eiffel was a franchise civil engineer and architect.
Known for:
•Eiffel Tower
•Contribution to building "statue of liberty" in new York.

12.Isambard Kingdom Brunel: (9 April 1806-15 September 1859) Brunel was an English mechanical and civil engineer .
Brunel built dockyards ,the great western Railway.
Significant design: Royal Albert Bridge.


13.Gottlieb Daimler: (17 March 1834-6 March 1900) Gottlieb Daimler was an engineer, industrial designer born in Germany.
He was a pioneer of internal combination engine and automobile development.

•High speed liquid petroleum fueled engine.

14.John A. Roebling: (12 June 1806-22 July 1869) Roebling was a german-born American civil engineer.
He designed & built wire rope suspension bridges in particular the Brooklyn Bridge in which has been designated as a National Historic Landmark & a National Historic civil Engineering Landmark.

15.Nikolaus otto: (14 June1832-26 January 1891) Nikolaus was a German engineer.
He was successfully developed the compressed charge internal combustion engine which ran on petroleum gas & led to the modern internal combustion engine.
